THE CONSTRUCTION COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY FOR CONSTRUCTION ON VINABEEF TAM DAO CATTLE FARM AND BEEF PROCESSING COMPLEX BY SOJITZ AND VINAMILK GROUP

[Vinh Phuc, March 08th 2023] Sojitz Corporation and VILICO held the Construction Commencement ceremony for one of the largest cattle farms and beef processing complexes - Vinabeef Tam Dao complex in Vinh Phuc province, scheduled to begin operation in June 2024.

The Vinabeef Tam Dao complex is the first project in the investment and collaboration plan between Vietnamese and Japanese high-tech corporations, Vilico (an affiliated company of Vinamilk) and Sojitz with an investment of VND 1,670 trillion. The Vinabeef Tam Dao complex will be built on a 75-hectare property in Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc province. The complex includes 2 parts: the farm with capacity to breed a maximum of 10,000 cattle and slaughterhouse with the ability to annually process approximately 30,000 cattle as well as a processing facility with the ability to annually produce approximately 10,000 tons of beef products.
