VINABEEF Tam Dao Complex: Showcasing Taikisha Vietnam Engineering Inc. ’s Excellence in Industrial Expertise

Sojitz Corporation (“Sojitz”) has initiated operations at one of Vietnam's most expansive beef processing plants, located in Tam Dao, Vinh Phu Province, through its subsidiary, Japan Vietnam Livestock Co., Ltd. (JVL), as of December 17, 2024. This facility marks a first in Vietnam by introducing refrigerated beef processing within a meticulously controlled and sanitized setting. Looking ahead, Sojitz envisions the plant handling and distributing up to 10,000 tons of beef annually. Additionally, by March 2025, the company plans to establish a cattle farm near the facility, creating a seamless system that integrates farming, processing, and sales. This approach aims to ensure a steady supply of premium beef and contribute to the evolution of Vietnam’s food culture.

The cattle farm, situated next to the processing plant, will have the capacity to raise 10,000 cattle. Through this integrated system, Sojitz aspires to deliver a reliable supply of high-quality Vietnamese beef products while streamlining all aspects of production and distribution.

Taikisha Vietnam Engineering Inc. (Taikisha Vietnam) played a crucial role in the project’s success as a trusted sub-contractor under the management of Meada Vietnam Corporation. Leveraging extensive experience in mechanical works, particularly in the food processing sector, Taikisha Vietnam was responsible for delivering critical systems, including plumbing, fire-fighting, HVAC and ventilation, clean rooms, freezing, and utilities. Taikisha Vietnam rose to the challenge, applying its expertise to ensure all systems met the highest industry requirements while upholding strict safety and quality protocols throughout the construction phase.
